Who We Are

Heart and Hand House, Inc., a non-profit mission project affiliated with the United Methodist Church, is located in north central West Virginia and provides emergency assistance to the residents of Barbour County. Our ministry programs include a food pantry; a home repair and construction program; assistance with utilities, rent, and certain medical expenses; providing layettes for newborn babies; and a garden market. We also operate two thrift stores.

Urgent Ministry Needs

As we work to help our families, here are a few things that we are out of or are in very short supply:

For Food Pantry & Assistance

Misc. items (muffin mixes, sides, snacks)
Breakfast food (cereal, baking mix & syrup)
Pasta (1 lb. boxes of any kind)

Vegetables (other than corn and green beans)
